Car Bomb Finder 3C4 & 3C5

The CarBomb Finder Atometer detectors are developed specifically to identify vehicles that are packed with nitrogen-based and chlorine-potassium-based concealed explosives with intent of using the vehicle itself as a bomb. With many advancements made to the original prototype, advanced under a research contract with the U.S. Army, as well as improvements to our core technologies, we are now on the fourth generation of this device and intend to finish the commercialization of both the CarBomb Finder 3C4 and CarBomb Finder 3C5 for sale by end of 2008.

The CarBomb Finder systems are ideally suited for:

CarBomb Finder 3C4

The CarBomb Finder 3C4 is a vehicle-borne Atometer detector designed to detect explosives or car bombs in the closed trunk, undercarriage, or other compartment of a parked vehicle. The system’s sensors are deployed from the vehicle at the end of a mechanical arm and placed in proximity to the targeted area. The CarBomb Finder 3C4 allows for remote operation and system diagnostics. It may be operated either from a console in the command and control van, or wirelessly from a distance. It is designed for mobile deployment at vehicle checkpoints as well as road-side screening of suspicious vehicles.

CarBomb Finder 3C5

The CarBomb Finder 3C5 is an in-ground system which inspects all compartments of a vehicle simultaneously from a stationary position below the vehicle. The design of the CarBomb Finder 3C5 provides for greater range as to the type of vehicles it can scan and a higher throughput than the CarBomb Finder 3C4. It is designed for frequent operation at checkpoints and chokepoints to provide infrastructure protection and perimeter security at government installations, military bases, power plants, refineries, critical infrastructure such as bridges and tunnels, and high traffic public areas including airports, buildings, and parking structures.
